1. Acceptance of Terms Welcome to Student & Student (“Student & Student,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of: studentandstudent.com all consultations essay review services admissions advising interview preparation digital resources communications all services offered by Student & Student. By using our website or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our website or services.

2. Eligibility Our services are intended for: high school students parents legal guardians If a student is under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian should purchase services and agree to these Terms on the student’s behalf.

3. Services Student & Student provides educational consulting services including, but not limited to: College admissions strategy Personal statement coaching Supplemental essay feedback Interview preparation College list development Resume review Activities review Application planning General admissions mentorship Student & Student does not make admissions decisions.

4. Academic Integrity Student & Student is committed to maintaining academic integrity. We provide: coaching brainstorming editing structural feedback suggestions admissions guidance We do not: write essays for students create personal statements on behalf of students fabricate experiences falsify accomplishments complete application materials for students Students remain solely responsible for all submitted application materials. All work submitted to colleges should accurately represent the student’s own ideas, experiences, and voice.

5. No Admission Guarantee College admissions involve numerous factors outside our control. Student & Student makes no guarantee regarding: admission scholarships waitlist decisions financial aid acceptance rates application outcomes Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.

6. Payment Payment is due according to the pricing agreed upon before services begin. Accepted payment methods may include: Stripe credit card debit card ACH other approved payment methods Services may not begin until payment has been received unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Refund Policy Unless otherwise stated: Completed consultations are non-refundable. Completed essay reviews are non-refundable. Digital products are non-refundable. Unused prepaid sessions may be refundable only as described in our Refund Policy. Student & Student reserves the right to evaluate refund requests individually.

8. Cancellation Policy Consultations cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be considered completed sessions and may not be eligible for refund or rescheduling. Student & Student reserves the right to waive this policy in extraordinary circumstances.

9. Rescheduling Clients may request to reschedule consultations. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate scheduling requests based on availability.

10. Client Responsibilities Clients agree to: Provide accurate information. Meet deadlines. Attend scheduled meetings. Review feedback promptly. Maintain respectful communication. Submit authentic work. Use Student & Student services lawfully.

11. Intellectual Property All original content created by Student & Student including: website content branding logos graphics videos educational resources guides worksheets curriculum written materials is owned by Student & Student unless otherwise stated. Clients receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only. Materials may not be copied, sold, distributed, published, or reproduced without written permission.

12. Client Materials Students retain ownership of: essays personal statements resumes application materials Student & Student receives a limited license to review, edit, store, and discuss these materials solely for providing consulting services.

13. Confidentiality Student & Student will make reasonable efforts to keep client information confidential. Information may be disclosed only: with client permission, to service providers assisting with operations, when legally required, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Communications By providing contact information, you consent to receive communications regarding: appointments services billing support updates Communications may occur through: email telephone text message video conferencing

15. Website Use Users agree not to: attempt unauthorized access introduce malicious software scrape website content interfere with website functionality impersonate others engage in unlawful conduct

16. Third-Party Services Student & Student may use third-party providers including: Stripe Google Zoom Notion Google Workspace Framer Use of these services may also be governed by the providers’ own terms and privacy policies.

17. Disclaimer Services are educational in nature. Nothing provided by Student & Student constitutes: legal advice financial advice tax advice psychological counseling licensed educational counseling government representation professional admissions authority Clients should independently evaluate all admissions decisions.

18. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Student & Student shall not be liable for: college admissions decisions scholarship decisions financial aid decisions missed deadlines caused by the client loss of opportunities indirect damages consequential damages special damages incidental damages punitive damages If liability is established, the maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

19. Indemnification Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Student & Student from claims arising from: false information supplied by the client misuse of services violation of these Terms violation of applicable law submission of inaccurate application materials

20. Force Majeure Student & Student shall not be responsible for delays or failures resulting from events beyond reasonable control including: natural disasters internet outages government actions public health emergencies power failures acts of war labor disputes

21. Termination Student & Student may suspend or terminate services if a client: violates these Terms, engages in abusive behavior, fails to make required payments, requests unethical assistance, or otherwise interferes with our ability to provide services.

22. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

23. Dispute Resolution The parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith informal negotiations. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue any remedies available under applicable law.

24. Severability If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

25. Entire Agreement These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any signed Client Service Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between Student & Student and the client regarding the services provided.

26. Changes to These Terms Student & Student may update these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted on this website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
